Bill Rybak earned his Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1977. His Bachelor’s degree is from the George Washington University, Washington D.C. He also studied at the Corcoran College of Art + Design and the Pratt Computer Graphics Center in New York. He has taught classes in Color Theory as an adjunct professor at Parsons the Newschool for Design.
He is also the director of Bill Rybak Design, a former member of the Board of Directors of the New York Association of Theatrical Artists and Craftspeople (ATAC) and an active advocate within the arts communities of the New York City metropolitan area and the Hudson Valley.
