  • Purchase of the canvases, boxes, garden lights and pedestals

How will this project manifest itself in the 2013 Studio Tour (encouraged) and at the next Art Eat Up?
The project will be ready for display by the time of the 2013 Studio Tour in my personal studio at Jersey City Art School and for the Art Eat-Up.

Why is this project critical?
The project has multiple meanings. The images are taken literally at the end of winter, but the title also signifies that climate change has put an end to winter as we know it in temperate regions. The artworks representing images of snow melting in the blazing sun are displayed as extinct specimens in a natural science museum. Another meaning of the End of Winter refers to the end of an accumulation period and start of a season of manifested creativity.
