Frank Ippolito is a visual artist and musician who lives and works in Jersey City, NJ. Mr. Ippolito earned a BFA at Pratt Institute and teaches traditional and digital media at FDU. His illustration work has been commissioned by clients that include Scientific American, New York Times, U.S. Geological Survey, and Audubon Society. Mr. Ippolito’s artwork hangs on permanent exhibit at both the American Museum of Natural History and The National Zoo. As an artist and musician, Frank regularly exhibits and performs in galleries and venues throughout the area. Central to his recent artwork is his exploration of mixed-media constructs that combine photography, painting, sculptural elements, and internal illumination. Ippolito’s experimental performance pieces mix live music, storytelling, and projected images in ways that blur boundaries and confound expectations.
