After graduating from the New York School of Visual Arts, with a bachelor of fine arts degree, I found various free lance illustration work, such as Woodlawn Books, Amedeo Petti in Manhattan, creating personalized caricatures for the WE crew apparel who conducted internet live safari drives in Africa for WildEarth TV, album covers for various NJ musicians and numerous cartoons for a local newspaper.

I usually worked with ink and watercolors as medium, and started painting in oils and acrylics feverishly since 2005. Some of my works have required no models or references, and were produced purely out of the particular, frame of mind, mood or simply off the top of my head I soon discovered the Hudson Artists of NJ as a new motive for creating and a great opportunity to show many works. In recent years, I have won several awards, for oils and acrylics and mixed media.

I was honored with the Artist of the Year Award at the Hudson Artist’s 59th annual art show held at the Bayonne Public Library in 2012.I have had pleasure of showing my talent in many locations: in my native town of Bayonne at the Bayonne Community Museum, Bayonne Library, Ferdez Art Gallery and Bee’s Art Studio, Cathedral Arts Festival, Jersey City’s city hall rotunda among many others.

I worked at the Jewish Community Center teaching Saturday art classes. And have had a successful duo show with my fiancé at the Center in 2014. I also participated in city grants for Beautifying Bayonne. I have painted 2 utility boxes and a bridge overpass welcoming people to Bergen Point. This year I will be painting the fountains and mushroom waterfall for the city’s municipal pool.I am a dedicated employee for the city of Bayonne for 25 years.
