In my work, I try to capture the joy and energy of drawing as a child. I use this energy as the foundation structure to keep that feeling of artistic freedom alive. I am inspired by contemporary urban expressionism and use a lot of colors to express the city’s vibrancy. I enjoy playing with the illusion of perspective on a two-dimensional flat space and I use words and shapes to create yet another layer. The positive words reflect what I hear around me and by using them, I hope to inspire others to believe in themselves and their unique perception of the world.
