Sara Lindo is an artist. And occasional genius. But mostly just an artist. She was born and raised in New Jersey, and has quite a soft spot for the state. She attended college at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and graduated proudly with her BFA in Illustration. In addition to painting & illustrating, she has created several comic books, including the “Carl Finds Love” series, “Lobotomy”, and “Wall Street Cat: Money Takes Naps”. When painting, she tends to enjoy acrylic paint, but had been known to also use watercolor and ink. She loves advertising mascots like the Michelin Man and Mr. Met. If you happen to know either of them, tell them to shoot her an email – it would really make her day.
Sara is a member of several professional arts organizations, including Pro-Arts and SCBWI (Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators).
Sara currently resides in Jersey City with her cool “dude” Steve, and their cool cat Ike. They all enjoy sitting together and watching educational programming and Mystery Science Theater 3000 on their home projector.
