Raymond Pina

Raymond Pina is a watercolor artist whose ideas come from the depths of his heart and the inner spirits of his soul. His feelings and emotions reverberate in every piece that he creates.

Raymond uniquely manipulates the watercolor medium in his artwork and, consequently, has amazing artistic versatility. His distinctiveness is portrayed through the use of dazzling color combinations. Many of his pieces favor a contemporary style, yet semi-abstracts are also critical parts of his repertoire. The one constant that flows through his work is the conflict of vivid colors, some complex, others simple. Because all of his colors contradict the color spectrum, many of his paintings elicit different artistic points of view.
In the words of Raymond Pina, “Color affects our emotions directly and immediately. I put all of my feelings into my body of work and the human emotion comes out through the subject. I believe that art always serves to draw people out of themselves into a world of separate, yet meaningfully related experiences. I strive to elicit a happy and positive response from all who observe and enjoy my art.”
