My Peru – A Second Look pictures were made in the summer of 2010 while in Peru.
Facial types, colors, city and landscapes attracted my attention. Some of the pictures display my sense of humor others show a darker side to my picture making. Common to all my work is an interest in turning photographs into complex, merged image compositions where the viewer’s imagination becomes an active collaborator in the scene.
Creating pictures from disparate parts is what my work is about. Combining unplanned images of every day people and places into content driven, meaningful pictures is the challenge.
