Nisha Drinkard received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Ms. Drinkard has been awarded numerous grants and awards including the Regional Emerging Artist Grant from the Arts and Science Council in Charlotte, North Carolina; the Heritage Art Collection Purchase Award in Tempe, Arizona; and the Professional Development Grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts in Phoenix, Arizona. Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the United States, including The Meadows Gallery at The University of Texas at Tyler, Tyler, Texas; Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, New Jersey; and the Tucson Museum of Art in Tucson, Arizona. She teaches workshops around the tri-state area including at Peters Valley Craft Education Center, Layton, New Jersey; Newark Museum for Art, Newark, New Jersey; and Art Lab, Snug Harbor, Staten Island, New York.
